Dear mam,
I have also taken Maternity Leave and resumed my services only a month before. So, if you are fulfilling the criteria of 80 days working in the 12 months immediately preceding the date of expected delivery and it is your first or second baby then your employer cannot deny for 26 weeks paid leave. Communicate to them in written, regarding to this issue and then to if they will not agree then take it in written and file a complaint in labor office.
Also, you can avail your maternity leave 8 weeks before your due date of delivery as per the MB Act, so as it is your 8th month take your maternity leave, submit a medical certificate in your company that you are medically not fit for traveling and will resume your duties on the transferred location after your maternity leave. They cannot force you to join at the transferred location during Maternity Leave.
Don't take stress, enjoy your pregnancy. Take care of yours and your baby.
