Hello Seniors, I have one question regarding to paid holidays. Is there any provision in law that a person working on every paid holiday shall get leaves against it? (Apart from Compensatory off).
Example: Suppose a company have 12 paid holidays as per there policy and an employee was worked for every paid holiday. Will he is eligible to get 12 leaves or 12 PL?

Dear Colleague,
There is no law which requires you to give leave of any type for this.
The prevalent large-scale practice is to pay double the salary or give substituted holiday for working on paid holiday.

Hello, This is as per S & E Act, double the salary and substituted holiday for working on a paid Holiday i.e 3 days salaries benefit.
