As per bonus act 1965 any employee resigned from his employment before payment of bonus, we will treat him for payment of bonus as regular employee or left employee. My query is left employee means how much bonus is he eligible for?

The definition of the term "employee" u/s 2(13) of the Payment of Bonus Act,1965 does not distinguish between the present employee and the past employee. What is important is that he should have remained an employee as per the definition clause of the Act either through out or part of the accounting year subject to a minimum of 30 working days in that year - that's all. How much bonus payable to the left employees depends on the percentage of bonus announced and the earnings of the employees during the accounting year.
