Is it fine to do away with physical hard copies of employee personal documents collected at the time of onboarding?
Is it fine to do away with physical hard copies of employee personal documents collected at the time of onboarding of new hires given the amount of cyber crime taking place? if the answer is no is there a regulation under employment laws that can mandate maintenance of personal records as a physical hard copy? nothing against digitization but considering the cyber crimes this question is being posted.
Seek advice regarding personal documents of old employees
Dear all i have just joined this company where i found that we don t have any certificates or records of our old employees like educational technical certificates or documents like address proof id proof birth proof. their personal files include only photo or single bio data. what you seniors thinks should i ask for those documents if yes then why? what importance does it have? need your opinion. regards bhavna.

Hr not allowing me to release from my current job
Hi i joined one of the 3rd larget it company in india where i have been working since 2005.in my tenure i went to onsite given good business for them. recently i have resigned my job due to personal problems.after 1 .5 months from my resignation now they are asking me to produce all my previous employment documents to enable the exit process.on joining the company they did all verificaiton. now they are asking again my previous employment documents again though they have all my employment documents .right now i have my previous companies employment related documents but i dont have bank statements as i have closed my account long back and lost all my bank details when i travelled to abroad. right now i am maintianing my fund in a single bank where i dont have any salary transaction from my previous employers. based on above please advice me for the following. 1 why they are asking now all documents after my resignation? 2 i have impression that they are playing on my career.what i can do legally? 3 right i am in severe personal personal so i can t make this as high priority to resolve issue? thanks billa

My company there are following problems: 1 irregular salary payment 2 salary slips not given 3. identity card is not given 4 no appraisals two months back one employee who has worked more than 3 years was asked to resign on the same day giving the reason as poor performance without any meeting and without any notice period no salary paid for the last month of resignation and no documents has given. before resigning when she was employee deleted her personal reference things. taking all the above condition into consideration can any legal action taken against the employee. the employee is asking for the documents and salary can the employee take any legal action

Hi forum i am from india. i am an employee of an organization. i just wanted to know that what all the documents are required to get from the hr at the time of joining the company like offer letter engagement letter employment letter etc. are the above documents in series? are there any other documents along with those? what does each documents specify? what documents should bear my sign and company management sign? give the list like which document or letter follows which document or letter. pls help me with all the questions. thank you in advance rahul
