Dear All, I am working as HR Executive in Pvt Ltd Company. Company provide back office services to our client based in US as freight forwarder. We want to conduct workshop for employees on written and verbal English communication. Please suggest on this.

Hi Dipti, you can contact a trainer and make it done, for assistance in labour complaince and other legal advises you can contact our expert team on 7708907021. Regards, KM
If you are good in English you can conduct the English Training class by yourself.
First create a training module with syllabus to be covered.
You may teach them Grammar, sentence formation etc. You can try communicative English approach which will be very practical.

Absolutely correct proposition made by Mr.Lakshminarayan, you can train yourself.
But you need to give them a practical apporach which is needed for their day to day use in the work. May be simple, grammatical english knowledge is sufficient. Soft skills are even important as US frieght forwarder is involved.
Go ahead, all the best.

Try putting a movie time fun activity with a short quiz. For e.g pick up a corporate based fun movie like Legally blonde or some animation movie like Up in the air with the English subtitles and create a short quiz on whose dialogue was this or what did this mean, etc; that way they will pay attention to the communication and get hold on colloquial words in use. Usually employees find it difficult to get trained along with the work load that they have to complete in a given deadline. You can spare 3hours once in a week where they can listen to a English movie and debate in a fun way. Let me know if you try this and if this works. It definitely worked for my employees. :)
