Hello All, My question is how to calculate paid leave (PL, SL, SL).?I have to start from April OR from January ? Some of employees has joined in mid of the year (june -July ), now they have completed 1 year in company. So from which month can they avail their paid leave?

Hope you come under Shops and Establishment Act. Leaves are normally credited on Financial year basis - April to March.
With regard to CL & SL proportionate leaves can be credited to their leave account from their date of joining.
As for as PL is concerned either it can be from date of joining or after completion of one year service as stipulated in the Act. But there is nothing wrong is sanctioning PL from DOJ
