How to deal with unethical behavior
This question is from our one training participant for crucial conversations. q. recently i have been put in a very difficult situation. my ceo wants me to do something i consider very unethical; he has also instructed me not tell anyone about it. i am very concerned. first of all i dont want to do it. secondly i dont want to withhold things from my boss. also i feel like i am becoming the fall guy. if the ceo gets caught i will be the one blamed and fired. how can i explain to my ceo that i dont want to be part of this unethical thing without losing my job? just like this guy there are many people who interested to know the suggestion and solution about dealing with unethical behavior. read the suggestion from joseph grenny who is coauthor of fourtime new york times bestselling author to this guy on dealing with unethical behavior here. search on cite search on google

Hi can someone give him/her views on this incident: i run a training company which deals in schools & colleges and for that i have appointed a female freelancer trainer for 2 days project.but she indulged in unethical behavior by exchanging her contact no. directly to client and also insulted my training head in front of clients' team. now i told her to send apology for the same.but she threatened me that she will not do the same and will lodge a case for harassing a trainer. what should i do in this? please give your valuable inputs

Fired by hr because i refused to come on saturday
I worked for a company for one year. and now i was serving my notice period. they fired me yesterday by saying that i misbehaved with hr because i gave my point of view to the hr regarding the issue of why to come on saturday which is officially off when i have no projects been in stuck stage and she find it offended. because of this she fired me by saying i misbehaved with her & refused for the assigned duties and now they are not giving me the experience letter as well as documents. so can anyone tell me is it legal or what i need to do?

What actions hr can take to change the attitude of employer?
Dear hr folks i am writing to seek your guidance on employer attitude on termination of employees. i am working as an executive hr with automobile manufacturing and facing a lot issues on termination/suspension of employees done by employer. where employer whenever want is terminating the managers/employees/workers etc without giving them notices on justifiable facts/grounds. recently a manager has been fired by employer on some grounds without notice to improve his performance & behavior who was serving the company more than 5 yrs and forced him to tender the resignation where hr deptt became completely handicapped because of unethical practices followed by employer and hr people aren t able to stop this. because this is third time employer did. so what actions hr can take to change the attitude of employer? what actions an employee manager can take against the employer ? if all the laws are there to protect the blue collar employees then who will protect the white collar employees. more to this any single law in indian penal system doesn t state about to protect senior people from such termination. why ??? if any pls do let update hr practitioner pls be free from any advocacy of an employer because this can ruin someones life & future too because hr is basically to empower the people to think about their welfare and keep protecting them such insecurity of future.
