Can somebody pls let me know, if a company is deducting salary for leaves without pay, how should it be calculated? should it be on the basis of Basic pay or full salary?
Hi, In case of leave without pay (LWP) deduction has to be on whole salary and not on basic salary.
Hi The Leave Without Pay (LWP) will be calculated on gross salary only not on basic wages, which will be occurred when the employee does not have leave balance in his account. Rgds PGR AGM - HR & IR
LOP (Loss of Pay) shall be calculated from his/her gross salary and not from basic salary.
