We have a recruiter who has been paid a share of 10 percent of billing o f apprx 336,000/-, as he was a fresher and trained by us , he was the only one to generate maximum number of closures. Recruiter was appointed six month back at a salary of 8.5k,realising his status of being the star performer , he is feeling he has been underpaid and has put up a request to hike the incentive given as he is not satisfied , he has quoted that 10 percent hike comes to approx. 2400 per candidate , where as he needs 5k per candidate , Is that justified. He is a good performer buy is he asking too much ?
