In our company, we are preparing a policy on maintaining employee bench strength. Can someone please provide me with a sample benching policy or the clauses that are included in the policy?
I also have a few queries regarding benching of employees:
1. What is the ideal percentage of the total employee strength that can be kept on bench
2. Is there any law or statue laying down guidelines for companies on maintaining employees on bench
3. How are employees on bench remunerated differently for other employees
4. Is there any maximum period for which a particular employee can be kept on bench.
