FSSAI License requirement - staff strength of 450 employee - have our own staff to prepare food for employees

I have staff strength of 450 employee and i also had a canteen facility but it was not on contract basis. We have our own staff to prepare food. We don't charge any amount for providing food to employee. Should we have to take FSSAi license? We are in the diamond manufacturing industry. Please suggest.

Yes FSSAI License is required to run the canteen facility, The whole purpose of such stringent rules is that the FSSAI is aiming to reduce the problems associated with poor quality food being served to the customers/workers and ensure health and safety.
