Dear Manikumar

Ur query regarding the claims from pf office, i suppose u must have the nomination form( form-2 revised) copy filled in by employee at the time of joining. In that u have all details like pension to be paid to whom ( Wife and children in case married) or in case of unmarried he must have given name of either parents who can claim the amount.

In case married wife and kids will be getting the pension. The kids will be getting the pension till attains the age of 25 yrs.

The claim form in case of death is available with pf office, which u have to submit after taking the signatures of wife. U need to submit 3 sets of photographs of wife along with kids and need to attested by the employer . Ensure that bank account details are filled properly, as pension amount is directly credited in account. It should be preferably from sbi or icici . Check it out in your state to which banks PF office has authorized for deposit of pension.

You can also get the claim from EDLI a part of PF.

Beside you can provide the nominee of the employee claim from Labour welfare fund, from esi also there are benefits ( details i don't have now) but certainly go to the local office of ESIC and enquire they will provide u all the details.

From company point of view the benefits u can provide is settlement if any bonus outstanding, leave encashment is pending.

In case the death happened during the course of employement in the office the management may opt for payment of compensation out of good will.

Incase ur is manufacturing industry and employee died due to accident then Employer is liable to pay the compensation as per the act.

If any other information is required get in touch or thru this hr forum.

Dear Kumar,
Yes he is eligible for Gratuity. If you have taken any policy from the LIC or any insuring company please inform the incident and they will pay the gratuity upto the date of retirement. If you have not taken any policy then you have to pay the gratuity upto the date of death.
