Dear Sir,

During the ESIC Registration process, it is mandatory to select a specific ESIC Dispensary in the portal. Typically, our employees choose a dispensary nearest to their homes. However, during Dispensary Registration at the ESIC MB Office, they manually assign us to a different dispensary on the E-Pehchan Card. All employees receive ESIC treatment accordingly. Unfortunately, we are unable to update the new dispensary selected by the MB Office on the portal.

Please advise on how we can update the new dispensary.

If employees are not facing any trouble to get the treatment or benefit, then the employer has no issue with making updates. If employees are facing trouble, then they have to visit the designated dispensary and get enrolled there. The updates will be done by the ESIC dispensary itself.

Form ESIC-53 is available at the target dispensary or panel doctor only. If the target dispensary has empty slots and accepts the IP or family on their list, they can do it directly (ESIC Nodal dispensary and hospitals do it without any document; just the validated e-Pahchan card and Aadhar is enough). Panel doctors do not have computer access, so they issue form ESIC-53 to the IP to get it countersigned from the employer along with form ESIC-37. Form ESIC-53 is not a stationary form to be used by the employer or the general public.
