I am currently working in an organization, during the joining procedure the appointment letter was given in which only the designation was mentioned. The appointment letter did not carried any probation clause nor the confirmation clause. It was mentioned in the letter that all the other rules are mentioned in separate sheet of paper which didn't bear any official company letter head, it was just a sheet of paper with rubber stamp. The exit clause was mentioned as three months or pay-out of the notice period in the separate sheet.
currently my question is how can i be sure whether the post for which I am working comes as in probation period (still not completed 6 months) or is it a confirmed one? I have not got any confirmation letter too. I want to move out of the company so kindly help me to understand whether I should be serving three month notice period or immediately since nothing has been mentioned about probation/confirmation?
