Hello you all!
I'm new to the forum, however, instead of introducing myself the typical way, I wanted to start off with a brief post on why I think team building is essential for the success of modern companies.
First, we need to remember that we're living in very competitive times, and competition only gets stronger with the passing of time. Therefore, it is important to do better than your competition in as many aspects as possible, and building a stronger, more communicative and efficient team is one of the most powerful variables you can target.
Logically, if you can get done more in less, and using less resources, you'll inevitably widen your profit margins and bring your company a better performance, which is something that your customers will notice, and therefore, their satisfaction levels will grow and they'll more prone to telling their family and friends about your business.
Second, it will allow you to keep a happy and productive environment at the workplace, which will keep everyone far more satisfied, and therefore, productivity levels will grow significantly.
That's all. I hope you enjoy it, and if you have any questions, just let me know!

Dear LivingThings2000,
Teamwork is important even if it is a traditional company. It cannot be an exclusive reserve of the "modern" company. Secondly, you have not mentioned the limits of teamwork. Should it be confined within the boundaries of the company or it can go beyond? If it can beyond then with whom a company can have teamwork?
Lastly, whether traditional or modern, teamwork demands to be open and transparent. But then neither you have disclosed your name or designation or the type of industry. You have not disclosed as to why you felt teamwork is close to your heart. This type of introversion, is it consistent with the theory of teamwork? Can you please clarify?
Thanks,
