Hi anonymous,
1.if an employee take leave from Saturday to Monday where Sunday is weekly off then Sunday should not be counted as leave. Hence only 2 leaves should b counted.
2.For all industries 21 days casual and PL leaves allowed for all staff who worked for 240 days per annum.
3 Salary calculation should be done on 26 days
With Regards,
Prasad J

Dear Prasad,
Is there any act which says 21 days casual & PL leaves allowed & secondly Salary calculation is not on 26, Salary calculation should be done on 30/31 including weekly off.
Dear Ravi,
Earned leaves/ Privilege leaves : Employees/Consultants are entitled to 21 days of privilege leave. ( at the rate of 1.75 leave for the period of one month working which includes CL and SL but not Leave Without Pay).
Please note that the concept of 26 days is considered based on the below:
total no. of days in a year = 365
Total Week off on every 7th Day in a year = 53 Days
365-53 = 242 Days
242 / 12 (months)
26
Please correct if I am wrong.
Also refer to DA allowances given by govt
