Hi I work for Electricity Distribution Company in Maharashtra, we have our permanent line staff, operator who looks after electrical maintenance, substation but due to shortfall of manpower we take outsource manpower from contractor through tender process.
My Queries are as below:
1. The Outsource manpower provided through contractor has to get contract labour license is clear but does he also need to has Electrical Contractor License/Supervisory License?
2. The contractor role is to provide only outsource manpower and they assist our permanent technical staff?
3. Does Contractor needs to mandatorily have Electrical Contractor License/Supervisory License? as they come under ambit of contract labour act
4. As work location is scattered geographically in remote areas unlike factory
Need your valuable suggestions
