If an officer is dissatisfied with his/her performance rating there is an appeal mechanism in our organisation where the appeal authority is one level above the officers superior. As a matter of talent review process the same appeal authority is the chairperson of the talent review committee.
The concern is is there any better process for appeal as in the above mentioned process the executive who has given a consent on the officers rating in the talent review is again getting the appeal to assess the rating. How can we keep it more independent from the talent review committee?
Appeal can be resolved as per your organisational " Performance Management System" policy. If you will not get a satisfactory solution, it will automatically go to senior team members, until it will get resolved.
