Friends, in Jan 2019, I joined a School 70 kms from home. I was hired as the Founder's Executive Assistant. Things between her and myself were extremely good, until two weeks ago, when she showed me her true colours. She called me to her cabin and humiliated me with false accusations and a couple of hours later changed the password to her emails as a result I had no access. No work has been given to me, ever since. In the course of time, I realised that the HR Manager was filling in the Founder's ears, with stuff I was unaware of. Apparently the Founder detests a lady who I speak with. How is it possible, not to speak to a lady who is nice and just keeps to herself?
Here, I am told by the HR not to speak to anyone as people will think those are the Founder's words. Don't speak loudly as people will hear me from the vent above. Jeez, its so frustrating!! My current situation is, I drive to work daily, to sit in my cabin and do nothing. How can this keep going on?? What advice can you give me, a person who is a workaholic, sitting down doing nothing. I have tried my best to speak to the Founder, but in vain. I have spoken to her son, but I have realised he has no say in the matter. I can leave, but they need to pay me one month's salary in lieu. And this is exactly what they have been doing with all support staff, be it Deputy Director, Counselors, admin staff etc.
