Tax saving components
Hi we already have a couple of tax saving components in our salary structure upto 12 of basic which includes reimbursements for book bills mobile bills driver s salary lta and sudexo coupons. there are upper limits for claiming each. other salary components include basic 40 of monthly gross hra 50 of basic medical reimbursement rs. 1250 per month conveyance rs. 800 per month and special allowance remainder of monthly gross. employees with higher salary are unable to take much advantage of saving tax since the choices are limited and there are upper limits for claiming each. can we add a few more components? if yes that what can they be? can it be done keeping the tax saving component maximum upto 12 only and keeping the overall salary structure as it is? please advice. thanks.
Non taxable salary heads / incometax rebate
Hi everyone i need to do salary restructuring and introduce non taxable salary heads can anyone suggest me to introduce such heads which will help in salary restructuring from tax benefit pt. of view. we already have hra medical conveyance lta in our salary structure. alternatively can anybody help me with details of tax consultants who could help in designer salary packages for tax benefits for high salaried employees for whom tax liability is more. :icon14: regards priya

Need inputs on redefining the ctc structure with non taxable components
Dear hr fraternity greetings of the day i am in process of redefining my ctc structure. the current ctc structure doesn t have tax saving component. the tax burden on the employee is high due to this structure. for the benefit of our employee i have decided to redefine the same by including tax saving components to reduce the current tax burden. i am attaching a sample ctc structure for 5 lacs containing both the current and proposed structure. i request the valuable inputs and feedback from the hr fraternity. the overall intention of this exercise is to help our employees save tax in legitimate way and can enjoy increased net take home salary.

Salary breakup to get max tax rebate by restructuring salary?
Hi all i m new to this group n i m liitle bit confuse on how to use this. but still i want ur suggestion on some matters. i m working as a hrcoordinator in a company and this is very small company. i am the only person in hr department. but the problem is not this i want to redefine our salary breakup so that employee gets maximum tax rebate without any extra burden on employer. our current salary structure is like this basic salary hra tansport allowance others pf but employees are not satisfied with this structur. as they say there may be a better way to get max tax rebate by restructuring salary breakup s please help me out if you have any suggestion for this looking forward for ur reply pooja
