Hi Everyone! I just need to have clarification on: does the paid (privilege) leaves should be compensated to employee on his/her gross salary or basic salary, in India?

I don't think that there is any explicit provision providing for surrender of privilege leave for cash benefit other than upon termination of employment. The calculation should be based on gross salary only.
