Early release in lockdown covid 19 - resignation period of three months notice period reduced
Hi respected hrs i have a query regarding forcefully early release in 19. if a person is on resignation period and has to serve three months notice period and after lockdown started... the company hr forced me for early release approx 60 days instead of 90 days. so my question is the company should pay rest 30 days amount to the employee or not? as per company policies they never give early release for 1 month they just gave due to 19 . the company policies are unilateral and not in favour of employees.. it is a case of early release not of layoff or termination. please suggest whether i should also get rest 30 days salary or not.

Early release
Friends a help is solicited. my current companys official notice period is 60 days though early release is possible. i resigned and my manager accepted the resignation and also wrote on the resignation form that will be released early in 30 days and so i confirmed the other company about my joining. now suddenly the company owner has crossed it and wrote 60 days on it and saying i wont get release letter docs and financial dues if i leave before 60 days. not even ready for buyout. what should i do now?
What to do if early notice period release not approved by hr?
Hi i work with it company and have notice period of 90 days. i have resigned from the company on 16nov2016 and requested to be relived by 16dec2016. i will serve 40 days of notice 31 days as of 16dec and 9 days of my leaves available by 16dec. i have communicated my joining date to my new employer as 19dec2016 based on the buyout option and early release option in our company policy. i informed my manager about my resignation and early release well in advance and he asked me to wait until he gets approval from our bu hr on the same. yesterday he told me that hr is not approving early release due to high attrition in the company and asked me to communicate to my new employer that i cannot join on 19dec 2016. however my new employer is willing to buy out my 2 months notice and cannot wait beyond 19dec. i understand that it was my mistake to communicate the joining date before approval from my manager but also i do not want to loose out the new opportunity. my manager first said he has no issue reliving me early and said the same to hr but i have no written communication on this from him. i dont know if they will approve my case before 16dec and it will be case of absconding if i do not report to work from 19dec. please guide me what should i do in this case. as per exit policy of the company "early release/shortfall of notice period: the notice period of 90 days needs to be served by all the employees. all such cases wherein the supervisor/n1 approves an early release it also needs to be approved by bu head in consultation with hr. shortfall of notice period shall be recovered from the employee."
Exceptional circumstance for early release
Hi all. i quit my current firm on 27 july and was serving the mandatory two month notice period. however unfortunately my parents met with a car accident and have been in a serious condition and they need constant caring. i want to get an early release from my current employer but am not sure if this falls in their definition of exceptional circumstances. i have the hospital and doctor\'s certificates with me. i just want to confirm if the employer will agree to releasing me early. in case they do not what course of action i can take? please advice. thanks
Notice pay recovery - as per them, an early release doesn't mean recovery waive off
Hi i joined an organization and within 2 weeks i expressed my desire to resign citing personal reasons. after the discussion my manager agreed to it. i expressed that i want to serve the notice period and work. he said onboarding employees are asked to leave early. but he gave a thought and citing technical feasibility as a reason asked me to opt for early release. all these conversations happened overcall. i did what was asked then management asked me to take the resignation back and offered some perks. i took back resignation but told them i ll think about it as reasons are personal in nature. my problems didn t improve and money was inconsequential in my decision i again put my papers within a week of this event. based on my previous discussion with the manager i took early release. my release date has passed but now i ve received mail for notice pay recovery. i mailed him and he said he will ask management for approval of the waiver but failed. as per them an early release doesn t mean recovery waive off. and hr is asking for approval of the manager to proceed now he is not responding. i didn t have any responsibilities to handover either as i just joined and have that in the mail. what should i do?
