A worker working with me & he got job on 01/03/2016 in Man Power Supply Basic & at the end of the month, in September he got admit in hospital due to several reason on 16 November 2016 he has met with death. So, he was marked has absent on job. Therefore he has not got salary of that particular month Since, he has work for few days of September & PF also deposited of that Month. But The Month of Oct 2016 to 16 Nov 2016 PF has not been Deposited.
Will his family Member get the advantage of EDLI scheme?

Yes, his family will get the EDLI scheme. You need to submit letter to EPF that while death he was on your muster roll whether he is absent or not.
