Hi everyone! Suppose if a female staff is working for more than 1 year in a company and earning rs 25000 per month as gross salary, automatically she will not be eligible for ESIC but is there is any other way where she will get the benefit for maternity ..or ... The company will have to pay for her?

Dear Rajeshwari,
If the company employs more than 10 employees then maternity benefits will be extended in the above case. Benefits include paid leave for 26 weeks and medical bonus as per the act if the employer does not provide medical insurance/post natal care.
