Dear all... as we all know that minimum wages should be equal to basic please provide me suggestion 1. if employee basic da 9500...it means it is more than pf ceiling limit i.e 6500/ basic is 6200 and d.a is 3300.then it becomes 9500/. in this regards i have a simply question..lots of professional says pf applicable on basic and somebody favour in basic da. in above salary basic da9500.which is more then 6500 pf ceiling limit but basic is less than 6500 so tell me whether pf will deduct on basic only and why....because we are also giving da..so can we exempt from pf deduction.. 2. if we providing basic da hra conveyance..then overtime calculation will be done basic only or basic daboth.. 3. when employee complete 5 years then he eligible for gratuity...our compensation struture is basic da hra conveyance.. so computation of gratuity will be on basic only or basicdaboth. because i heard lots of professional that gratuity will be paid on basic or somebody says basic daif employer compensation structure are basic da hra conveyance.. provide me your adequate suggestion.. your cooperation in this regards shall be appreciable. thanks
Pf deduction on basic+da or on min. wages in maharashtra
Dear all our factory is located in maharashtra. please let me know that pf will be calculated on basicda or on minimum wages. as their is lot of confusion about its implementation. thanks girish
Min wages in basic head
Hello i would like to know that the minimum wages should go in basic head or can we divide in basichraconveyance. in my previous company we keep min wages in basic head but in new company they divide the min wages in three category i.e. 60 min wages in basic 30 in hra & 10 in conveyance.. which is not correct as per law. also the pf ceiling is 15000 now so if we divide a salary of 20000 in above ratio the basic would be 12000. hence the employee will be mandatory in pf. if we increase the basic by 15000 then pf would be optional. so please advise how to divide the salary in different heads. thanks swati

Hi can any one advice on the bifurcation of min wages rs.3510 in haryana as basic 2640 hra 870 total 3510 and deduct pf only on basic i.e. rs.2640? if possible then please provide relevant ruling supporting aforesaid case. can it be possible to have any breakup of min wages basic : hra : others in any of min. wages manoj gupta
