To the best of my knowledge, paternity leave has not been introduced so far in any establishment-specific labor law in our country.
The pity is that most of the working women are indirectly pressurised by their employers to leave their jobs the moment it is known that they are pregnant as of now in view of the enhanced maternity benefit under the Maternity Benefit Act,1961.
Learned members from Karnataka may throw more light on the matter.
