Dear all feb 2019 we have appointed abc manpower supplying contractor agency to do house keeping / security. nov 2019 their one of the old employee mr. xyz who is working with abc since year 2012 who is working at our site since feb 2019 is leaving abc company. please confirm he has completed 7 yrs with abc company but will be completing only 9 months with us. what will be our liability with respect to his gratuity payment.

Termination in probation - employee taking leaves to search for other jobs and attending interviews
As we clearly mentioned our employee no leaves in probation and she has taken 7 leaves from 125th of march 2019 even though we told her no leaves in probation.she joined in feb20th 2019 and two leaves in feb from 20th to 28th. she is for marketing position and she simply searching for other jobs and attending interviewsreason for her leaves and ironically searching for her partner in marriage sites in office and also spoiling other employees. her probation is 6 months . as we vexed up with her we decided to terminate her from tomorrow. any problem will arise and is that the correct decision we have taken?

Hi i joined one organisation in bangalore karnataka on 5th november 2018 as a hire / for 3 months. on completion of around 2 months they gave me an and i joined as an employee in the same organisation on 1st jan 2019. i just resigned from the company few days back 15 nov 2023 and my last working day is probably going to be 31st oct 2023. will i be eligible for here are more details a my company is in bangalore karnataka b i work in a software company and we have 5 days a week work c hire : offer given from 5th nov 2018 to 4th feb 2019 and they gave me offer from 1st jan 2019 without waiting for hire to expire. d : 1st jan 2019 till now and i have just resigned few days back and most probably my last working day will be 31st oct 2023. my queries are as under 1. will i be eligible for gratuity? if i take 31st oct 2023 as my last date and ignore my hire which was from 5 nov then from 1st jan 2023 to 31st oct 2023 i would have worked 4 years 304 days. 2. many are giving madras high court ruling of 240 days will it apply in karnataka also? has supreme court also said the same? can i get any judgement proof applicable to karnatake where someone was granted gratuity based on 240 day criteria? 3. what are my options if they plainly deny my gratuity request saying you haven t completed 5 years? thanks sujit
