Dear All, I would need some assistance in joining Formalities part.
I have an employee who joined 1 yr back and his Documents of Previous employment and education were not taken by previous HR of our company. I asked him to submit it now as it was not done before. So wanted it know is it compulsory to take his documents now? or is it fine if employee does not submit because he has already completed 1 year with our firm.

I recommend you should collect necessary documents from that employee for audit purpose. It is necessary to maintain employee files with complete documents.
Submission of documents as per joining checklist or bgv purpose must be adhered to by all employees concerned. HR should always ensure the same.
