Pf calculation - after the amendment it need to be calculated from (grass - hra)
Hello everyone as per the new amendment pf calculation is changed. previously we used to calculate 12 of employee pf contribution from basic da but after the amendment it need to be calculated from grass hra so that 2 pay components are made compulsory in this calculation first one is its calculate 4050 from net salary 2nd one is hra now do we calculating 40 from basic or net salary for example : salary 18000 basic 7200 its 40 form salary hra 1 40 from net salary its 7200 2 40 from basic salary its 2880 which one is right so that we can arrive at pf wage to calculate pf?

Dear seniors our one employee gross salary is rs.10000 / per month. they are working 12 hrs/day. how can we calculate per day salary and overtime salary as per factories act 1948. please check the following and kindly provide the correct one i one day salary calculation a rs.10000 / 26 rs.384.6 / day or b rs. rs.10000 / 30 rs. 333.33 / day or c february month rs.10000 / 28 rs.357.14 or d january month rs.10000 / 31 rs.322.58 / day or e shall we divide the gross salary as per every calendar month days. ii overtime salary calculation for one hour a rs.10000 / 26 x 8 x 2 rs. 96.15 /hr. or b rs.10000 / 30 x 8 x 2 rs.83.33 / hr. or c rs.10000 / 28 x 8 x 2 89.28 / hr. or d rs.10000 / 31 x 8 x 2 rs.80.64 / hr. or e shall we divide the gross salary as per every month calendar days with divide 8 and multiply 2 which one is correct in this above per day and hours wages calculation? in this above from which calculation pf will be deducted 12 from employee salary. otherwise pf will be deducted 12 from employee basic salary is pf deduction applicable to overtime wages or not? can we calculate overtime salary from basic salary instead of gross salary? can we calculate 12 pf deduction from basic salary instead of gross salary? please clarify our above doubts. thanks with regards thirumurugan

Please guide on how to calculate minimum wages
Dear ppl i m in chennai and i m paying to my employees gross salary ranging from 4900 11350/.which is being split into 60 basic 30 hra and 10 conveyances. only recently i registered under factories act.now as per my lawyer the minimum wages payable under tamil nadu govt is 4790/ which is basic d.a. but my p.f consultant has split gross salarybasic60hra30 and converyance10 in the following way saying this is how calculation has to be done for p.f. only recently did i come to know such bifurcations will lead to legal complications. i m prepared to pay p.f and minimum wages according to gov rules. now i ve few que here. 1. if we calculate only basic i donot comply with minimum wages. 2. will there be a problem in p.f.dept regarding this matter. 3.is it legal to say my gross salary is more than the total of minimum wagesbasicd.a prescribed by the govt. apart from the gross salary i pay conveyance also i.e if a person s salary is 11350/basichraconveyance 350/ as conveyance tea expenses 400/ month. thus even after paying so much money i m still under legal complications. pl help me out. wat is the remedy in this situation. with regards vivek
