Dear Sir/Ma'am, I am working with Tata Communications Transformation Services hired thru an agency(Offroll). I had to taken 6 days leaves in the month of Jan'19 cause of severe eye flu. Now I'm providing medical certificate for the same and my reporting manager also have no issue but my agency has deducted 5 days of my salary stating that i can only get 1 day sick leave as it it the first month of new calendar year. While in the appointment letter received from the agency it is clearly mentioned that i can take 10 days of sick leave in a calendar year and it is not mentioned anywhere that these 10 days will be divided into 12 months.
Kindly let me know whether this deduction is correct?
