Dear Deepa,
Why employee training is organised? It is conducted for the following reasons:
a) To reduce some cost
b) To reduce the consumption of resources
c) To reduce the turnaround time of some process and
d) To increase or decrease of some ratio
Therefore, I recommend you to conduct the study of your organisation and find out which programme fulfil the above objectives. Earlier, I have given an exhaustive reply on the employee training. What has worked for other companies may not work for your company. Employee training is far more than routing "copy and paste" work. If you wish to gain the results from your investment in the training, I recommend you to adopt the practices that are rooted in the culture of your company.
