Hi, In a Manufacturing Company we are providing monthly Salaries to the staff which is paid by bank, as well as we have staffs who are working for daily wages. and the wages are paid by cash everyday. Right now we are deducting the PF and ESI from the staff which we are providing the salary monthly. whether we have to deduct PF and ESI from the staff who all are working on daily wage basis..?

PF/ESI is applicable on hourly or piece basis wages also when the term salary or wages comes in picture, all applicable labor statutory laws get applicable

Paying daily wages through cash for those working continously can cause problem.
