Hi All,
I am working in a ITES company where we work in Night shift. We have few women employees who are denying to avail Transport facility provided by the company. Our Company is in SEZ and we would like follow all SEZ norms and Govt Laws applicable for ITES companies. Now is there any chance to allow our women employees to commute on their own who are working between 7 PM - 5 AM. Is there any letter that an employee can submit to the HR dpt for not availing the transport facility provided by the company.
Kindly help me out with procedure and Letter format for non - availment of Transport facility.

Twisted query
for night shift the management have to provide FREE transpiration, which would be not deducted from gross salary.
However if the employee denies to avail, the n who will be responsible for the safety of female employees? though they are not going to get any extra amount for conveyance if they use own conveyance
management has to keep the option open always, and it would be up to the employee to avail facility or not.

Dear member,
If few women employees who work in the night shift and wanted exemption from the company-provided transportation services, then they can be told to submit affidavit that indemnifies the employer. They must accept responsibility for the mishap that might occur in the course of transportation. Let it be clearly mentioned that to decision to make arrangement for transportation on their own is out of volition and they will not pass on any claims arising out of untoward incident(s).
Thanks,
