We have deployed security agency at construction site and the query raised by the construction company is we need to have workmen compensation under workmen compensation Act , though we have done ESI coverage for all security guards. So my query is if we have already covered under ESI, do we need to cover Workmen compensation also???

Both are not possible. Those eligible for ESI cannot be covered in WC Act. Therefore those who are drawing above Rs.21,000/-& not covered under ESI only will be under WC Act.
