sonal-kumarThis is going to sound bizzare and then plain stupid... But thts how it has happened.
In 2017 jan I left my job where I worked only for 6 months and took a year break due to health issues. Then in 2018 may I joined a company and for some stupid reason for which I have no explanation I quoted CTC of my previous to last company... Which was less by 3 lakh than what I was getting in my last company. And I accepted offer Forgetting absolutely that my last drawn CTC was 3lakh more.
I know it sounds bizzare a blunder of highest order but that's how it is...after 2 months I realized the blunder I made and spoke to HR abt it... They said they can't do anything immediately but will do something abt it during half yearly appraisal... But they again saying company policy not allowing them to make correction... I know it's my undoing but I am good resource and I should get wht I deserve as per industry standard. If they go to hire another resource of my experience they will shell out higher amnt then y not pay me the same amount. Please help me on what can be done in this matter?

I'm hearing this type of a story, fiction for the first time. Having revealed so many things you should have revealed the rest of the things also. This is as if last chapter missing in a griping novel. What should I name it, absent minded, carelessness or quoted less as you were not confident about your chances bagging the offer or what, how to name it? As you said it would be stupid to give this kind of reasons for your claim for upward revision of your CTC. May be, you'll try your luck for extracting better terms if you threaten them putting down your papers. By chance if they won't budge? Yes I'm sure you are going to try this as well having dared not to do unimaginable things so far.
