Hello Friends,
I'm working in a private company. I have availed maternity leave for 6 months. My company have granted leave for 6 months but that 6 months are not paid. Those 6 months are treated as leave without pay. Now I have joined my Company after availing leave. I want to give a request letter to my employer asking for paying salary of 6 months. Friends please provide me a draft letter so that i can submit it to my employer.

if the company policy has provisions for Maternity leaves then they will auto consider the same, however if the employee is covered under ESIC, the leaves and wages are payable by ESIC

First of all pl.tell us whether you are covered under the ESIC act or not. If yes, you should have taken enough compliance stipulations. If not you should be under the Maternity Benefit Act. The procedures & action to be taken will depend on your answer to the above observations.
You people should have some common sense before such developments takes place in your life. How you can afford to keep quite and after the event you are searching for remedies. Are your office people not guiding you what to do in the circumstances before hand? Sorry if I sound little harsh in my comments. But how could you expect us to help us in this kind of situation.
Pl.indicate full details, especially about any ESIC scheme is in place in your office or not.
