Deal members our company has changed policy regarding leave encashment and decided not to give leave encashment. we getting 30 leave from which 15 to be compulsory utilise and 15 can be only forwarded to next year and it is also up to max 120 leave. is there any rules for leave ??? pls advise. manish

Can any body tell me how many day are to be counted in a financial year for leave encashment ? in our company we have toatl 48 days leave per year plclsl etc from these how many days should be taken for leave encashment if no leave have been availed by any employees of my firm do i have to make leave payment for all the 48 days or are there any restriction in nos of days is there any act or rules/regulation regarding it can any body post me the details along with the formula to calculate the leave encashment also do we have to calculate the nos of days at 26 or 30 pl advise alex

I have a small software company registered in gujarat. the company employees < 10 work from home. they get saturdays and sundays off with 8 mandatory national holidays and 2 optional minority holidays. what should be my leave policy? is encashment of leaves at the time of termination mandatory under law? i read most companies offer 12 casual leaves 12 earned leaves a year 1 day off for 20 working days but most places say leave encashment is not mandatory. please advise.
