Dear HR fraternity, I would like to know the legality of leave eligibility / entitlement for contract labour.
Please give your comments.

Dear Krishnakumar,
According to Factories act 1948, Contract labourers are eligible for 1 day leave per 20 days of work. Hope this answers your question

Dear Krishnakumar,
Service conditions like working hours, weekly off, statutory leave and holidays etc., applicable to the regular employees of the Principal Employer's establishment are equally applicable to the contract labour engaged in the same establishment.
