Hello everyone our company has planned to provide incentives to the sales team. so i have some questions regarding it. 1 is the incentive amount taxable for both the employer and employee? if yes then what type of tax should we be paying like tds or any other? 2 should incentives be added to gross salary? 3 what will be the minimum taxable amount? shall the taxable amount be calculated only on incentives or incentives gross salary? please suggest. thank you.

Hi guys... i work for a software co as bd. people in sales have incentives based on performances. are incentives part of ctc? i have recd an offer from a company where they have given some hike in my fixed ctc.. but most of the hike is given as incentives.. the offer states.. fixed pay .. say 200000.00 incentives...say 100000.00 total 200000.00 incentives are paid on achivement of targets... they only give the total figure as fixed pay .. looking at this i have a doubt if incentives part of ctc?
Recovery post tax
Hi i was having a component in my salary which was paid for few months due to change in project this component was supposed to be removed but i got paid for one more year. the hr realized this after 2 years and now the excess paid amount was getting deducted from my salary post tax. due to this i am incurring the loss on tax that i already paid. i have no problem is the deduction but the tax paid on that amount is lost. i informed the hr that was their mistake due to which i am losing the tax amount i paid. pls. advice. thank you for your help.

Dear hr friends i want to understand how income tax calculated. as per my knowledge tax will be calculated as per doj and on gross correct me if am wrong. example : an employee joined in the month of oct 13 and offered package is 380000 he is eligible for income tax? my calculation as follows: 380000/6 63333 calculated as per doj then he is out tax fy 13. above calculation is right? kindly help me how to calculate. regards dilep.a
