I work in a software company and have a two-year bond there. I have already served for one year and eight months. Unfortunately, I am now experiencing some health issues and wish to discontinue my work. I have spoken to my reporting manager in person about this and drafted a resignation email on November 1st. It has been 19 days since I resigned, and he has not responded to me. Despite talking to him and sending a follow-up email, I have not received a response. He mentioned that he would get back to me within a week, which was 10 days ago, yet there is still no response. I have also reached out to the HR team, and they advised me to wait for the manager's decision. I sent another follow-up three days ago and have still not received any response.
Since I am required to serve a notice period of two months according to the company policy, I informed them that I would fulfill that period and leave by December 31st, 2018. Additionally, I have attached the necessary medical reports. Can someone suggest what my next steps should be? Thank you in advance.

Since you are to be relieved by December 31st, the management can communicate its decision regarding the acceptance of resignation until then. There cannot be any compulsion to accept your resignation now itself. Management reserves the right to accept/reject the resignation. It appears the management is sympathetic, and you will have to await its decision.
