I have received a letter from EPFO making submission of Form 19, 10C, 31 through on line mode mandatory. The employee can submit the said forms through the member portal. But many of the employees have forgotten the password to open their member portal account. Some of them have even lost their mobile sim card very long back. Without opening the member portal, editing the details of member is not possible.
In addition to this there are other problems such as mismatch in Name, Date of Birth etc. Most of the employees are uneducated and do not have any documents .Approached the area EPFO but still problems persists. In this scenario employer is finding lot of inconvenience and helplessness. I feel this kind of problems more exist in the company’s located in rural areas .Is there any practical solution please. 16th November 2018 From India, Bangalore
