Hi All,
Regarding PF transfer
One of our employee previous organisation has initiated her PF transfer and that is done, now we have to link it her present PF a/c so that amount will reflect in her passbook, when we asked our PF department to finish the linking process, they said that person has to visit PF office and get it done, here our employee is in US.
Here is below mail from her previous organisation. please let me know if there any possibility to do online or without employee availability.
We have attached the Annexure K for your ready reference which you can
share with your current employer to follow up with concerned RPFC/Trust for
linking it your present PF a/c so that the amount will reflect in your
Passbook / PF Statement.

Was her previous employer maintaining their own PF trust or had a PF account with the EPFO?
Hi Rahul,
There are maintaining own PF trust.
Transfer from a Trust to a non trust EPFO account is a real pain, as per my experience. I have seen 2 circumstances one wherein the trust sent the PF cheque with annexure K to the RPFC; and in other case they sent the same to the employee; so that the employee can submit the same to EPFO. In both the cases, the entry of PF account transfer is manual in nature and takes a lot of time. In the former case, it took more than 12 months.
I suggest you keep following up with the RPFO and request them to update the same in the passbook.
