Employee drawing salary above Rs 21000 is exempted from ESI hence they are not eligible for any medical benefits under ESIC. But for PF benefit, if your employee was previously a member of the PF scheme, then the employee is eligible for PF benefit even though the salary is above Rs 21000/-. You can provide PF benefit on maximum limit of Rs 15000/- (Basic+ DA). And in case your employee was previously not a member of EPF scheme, still you can provide PF benefit on maximum limit of Rs 15000/- if you management approves this.
