Pf and payroll - finance team says employees statutory should be paid as per their location?
Few employees are deployed in pune and bangalore and their statutory pf esi and pt is paid as per tamilnadu statutory. now the finance team says employees statutory should be paid as per their location. please clarify.

Dear seniors i am currently handling the hr and payroll of my comoany which is into retail sector.... all these years we were employing the employees on our company payroll itself. we have employees working in different cities of the country. now the management has decided to outsource the employeesother than head office employees to a third party payroll company who needs to recruit and retain the employees by talking care of all the statutory areas like pf esi etc...but the selection of the candidates is left to our company once the third party comapny screens and sends the candidates. now my question is what is the procedure to get started with the same as i am very new to this. kindly help me out.

Dear friends among all the functions of hr the only area where i need to work extra is payroll & statutory. many companies are outsourcing payroll & statutory now a days to external agents consultancies. i have a sunday off and very much ready to join an external agent where i can go and learn payroll & statutory on a regular basis. i do not want to join any training institute. looking ahead for a positive reply from any such external agents.

Hi everyone in a companywhich department is responsible for operating the pf accounts of employees hr department or 'finance & accounts' department? if it is a joint responsibility who is responsible for which part of the work? for example if filling pf forms from employees is hr s responsibility; who is responsible for opening pf account and the statutory compliance? please clarify thanks & regards pallavi
