This is generally query,
Suppose, I joined new company B where I did not mention about my previous company A.
1. Can company B identify my previous company A?
2. I have PF and UAN number of company A. If company B tries to create new PF and new UAN, can they identify my previous company A?
3. Suppose company A maintenance PF balance in their trust account which is not claimed as of now. Can company B identify the previous company?
Please share your thoughts.

The company may not be able to identify previous employer,but existence of UAN and PF number indicates previous employment.
What is the issue in telling about previous employment.
Truthful CVs are liberating and gainful for employees.
No skeleton in the cupboard makes your life happier.
My friend asked the question and getting clearance here...
He worked for 4 months and left job for higher studies. Now he got campus and selected in big MNC company.
This is to understand whether will it impact.
Did he leave the job in proper way with clearances etc.
If so no issue, just submit all details w/o hesitation.If he had left w/o papers and in bad terms etc,he could face a problem when new UAN is opened.
My sincere advice is never start a career with hidden details of previous job.
I think, he didn't do proper releaving. His PF amounts are maintained in company trust account.
Could you elaborate, what kind of Problem he will face.
Like bgc verification can't compete or while creating new UAN in new company, it will show like already UAN created and PF too..
Let your friend directly post his queries.
It would be better as he will have full information of what he did or dd not do while exiting previous employment.
If he has exited previous employment improperly,BGV will find it out and can affect his present employment chances.
MNCs are .pretty careful about whom they employ and do discreet but effective checks.

Dear Anony,
1. Company B can for sure identify your previous company A, even when you dont mention the same in background check form.
2. If your aadhar is linked to your old UAN of company A, Company B will not be able to create a new UAN and yes they will get to know of your employment with Company A.
3. Even if any of them maintains a trust, they can check your service history using your UAN.
P.S. - We live in the era of technology, and everyone has access to data that they want. We can't fool anyone!!
