Hi All Team Members,
I do have a query about the termination Notice period of an employee. I am HR in a start up company. An employee asked for the salary raise to the owner of the company who is associated with the company since past 1.6 years & about the few of the concern i will mention below. But in response to the email, he immediately received the termination notice period because he asked about the salary raise & company protocols. Now all the employees are worried about the same as nobody got the increment till now & even no certain standard rules are here in the company. Employees of the company want to know what action can be taken against him. Kindly help me out with suitable legal answer with the employment law.
Also i am mentioning the concerned point as below-
1 - Public holidays
2 - They are not closed on Gazetted Holidays
3 - No specific leaves are being provided.
4 - No specific work place is being provided.
5 - instant termination on asking these above queries.
Please help me with the legal Employment laws to answer them that what action can be taken.

Dear Azra,
it seems that owner wants to give a message to the rest of the employees, that if they are going to ask for a raise; they will be asked to leave. Maybe the business is slow or he doesnt want to pay. Help me understand, are you asking that what action can be taken against the owner??

Hi Rahul sir,
Thank you so much for your reply. The concern was the employer is not at willing to give hike/bonus or incentives to any employee.
The new issue come up, I left my company & was about to join a new firm & for that I was out of station. Prior to my exit, I informed them to take up the asset as laptop & phone from me because I won't be available immediately when I am out. When I intimated them through mail that I am about to come back so please collect the asset from me. Since that day, they are constantly threatening me through mail that I steal their asset. In every mail of mine, I intimated them to collect but they are doing nothing but threat mails I am getting. What actions I should take? Please help me out.
