If a employee works on sunday(i.e 7th day), we will normally provide compensation holiday in the next 3 days (i.e on or before 10 th day. if the 9th or 10th will be a national holiday. what is the procedure for giving compensation holiday

In such cases you can give 08th Day or 11th day.

When an employee work on Sunday (Weekly Off), it is mandatory to allow employee to avail an off on another day. Companies based on policies, allow employee to get such compensatory offs accumulated for a period of 3 months and avail as and when the employee likes. Some firms will have a different practice of insisting employee to avail the compensatory off, in the coming work week itself.
