I am HR Manager in a Partnership Firm, which is registered under Karnataka Shops & establishment act. Please confirm the rules and regulations i have to follow to do the leave policy. How many paid leaves are allowed to be given i.e how many earned leave, casual leave and sick leave to be given. Is it compulsory to give 10 days holiday(festival & National ). Incase of any festival falling on saturday which is not a working day should we compensate with another festival holiday. I have read through the Karnataka Shops and Establishment act, however i am very much confused, as there are amendments which have been done. Request someone to please guide me.
