Please give me confirmation - regarding Supervisors comes under workman in ID act or not?

Dear Baiju, Pl refer to sec.2(s) of the ID Act,1947 which defines the term " workman". As long as a supervisor’s monthly salary does not exceed Rs.10000-00, he would be a workman under the Act.
