I want to know if Holiday falls in between leave, it will be counted in leave or Holiday?
Example : Someone take leave from 13th August to 18th August (15th August Holiday), then 15th August counted in holiday or leave??

From India, Allahabad
It depends on type of leave. Generally casual leave rules permit to treat it as holiday, i.e. 13th 14th as CL, 15th as holiday, again 16th to 18th as CL.
Whereas in Earned Leave, all the days including 15th is treated as EL

HI,
It depends on the company policy as many company treats holiday falls between leave as leave only and not holiday. As the reason is, the employee is entitled for an holiday while he / she is in service means working prior or after the holiday. In case you are not working prefix or suffix to the holiday then company count the same as a part of leave only.

these are the paid holiday , so needless to ask that if holiday fall between the leave then it will be count as holiday or leave. Ofcourse it will be treated as holiday. because it is paid holiday.
